Biography

Hussain Al Wasly is Currently the Chief IT Officer at Jubail Energy Services company who holds +20 years of experience in the field. In addition to his experience, he acquired a PhD in ICT with 2 published research papers. In addition, Hussain has had a wide experience in several industries such as chemical, petrochemical, services, and IT with some of the biggest companies such as Saudi Aramco. Moreover, Hussain has also a vast exposure to Cybersecurity, AI, corporate business applications, and IR 4.0 technologies. Over the years he has introduced several improvements to optimize IT departments’ functions by enhancing business architecture models, collaborated with business teams to automate and optimize work processes, identify discrepancies and vulnerabilities in IT applications, identify cost reduction possibilities and formulate IT goals and objectives and align them with corporate business objectives and vision.
